WOW. Again. I didn't visualize that many boxes even though you told us the size of the crate they were in. Did all those boxes come from one person? It'll be interesting to see how you deal with it all.
I agree with Becky, WOW. It looks overwhelming. You definitely have some major sorting, etc. tasks ahead of you. I'd have the urge to find the oldest, rarest, most important, etc, items and move them quickly into safer storage containers. Fires and floods, etc scare the bajeezies outta me. Please, do keep us posted on how you proceed and what you find along the way. The gifting rellie should be a serious candidate for genealogical sainthood.
It's like a genealogist's dream and nightmare all rolled into one! Good luck with that. I look forward to hearing about what you find.
