Severe Weather in Northern California

One of the worst storms in decades has battered Northern California and the Sierra Nevada today.
Starting at about 4 a.m. PST, wind gusts of more than 100 mph in the mountains and up to 75 mph on the valley floor ushered in heavy rains. There have been power outages throughout the day in the Sacramento metro area. Telephone and cable services have also been affected.

Stay safe. It is hitting us next, we are getting winds ahead of the snow here in NorthEastern Nevada, with predictions of 4-7 inches of snow by morning.

It's finally starting to warm up here. I'll send a little sun your way if you'll promise not to send the wind this way. :-)
